Close up magic happens right in front of the spectators eyes and in many cases in their hands. Because of this it is very interactive. Our style is to combine sleight of hand with comedy and audience interaction. Which means our performances are very visual, entertaining and unforgettable.
There are a couple of different ways you can use a close up magician at your next event
Strolling / Mix & Mingle Magic
This is where a magician will mingle between your guests performing magic to one group and then moving to another group. It makes a great conversation starter and icebreaker and is a great way to bring groups of guests together. Strolling magic is a very popular option during drinks receptions, house parties, garden parties and mixers.
Banquet / Table Magic
Close up magic is a great option when you are planning an event with a sit down meal and there are multiple tables of guests. A magician can go from table to table performing magic to the entire table almost like a mini show. This really helps bring the atmosphere in the event up as each table will be cheering and clapping as they watch the performance. The type of magic we perform in this type of environment is designed specifically for a larger group of people than strolling magic.
Parlour Shows / Close Up Shows
If you are planning a smaller function and you want to make sure your guests have the WOW Factor then this is the best option for you. A parlour show can run up to an hour and is designed as a sit down show. Your guests will all sit down together and watch a show that unfolds right in front of their eyes. The show typically combines comedy, sleight of hand and smaller custom designed illusions. There are several routines we perform during a Parlour Show that we would never perform in any other environment. A lot of our clients will start with mix and mingle magic and then have a Parlour Show at the end of the event.
